Where It Comes From
The Culture Has Roots.
The way we treat people didn't come from a training manual. In 1962, Tom Lyttle came over from Ireland with a work ethic and a simple belief: treat people right and they come back. He bought a struggling Ford store in Matawan and moved it to a former strawberry farm in Keyport — the ground we stand on today.
Three generations later, the same family still owns and operates the store. Walk the floor and you'll meet people who've been here 10, 20, 30, even 40 years. That kind of staying power is what a real culture feels like — and it's exactly what you feel as a customer.
The history is the proof. The experience is the point.
